Scooby Doo, Where Are You?: A Fancasting For A Live Action Portrayal

My cast of the Scooby Doo would be throwback to the classic cartoon series from the 1969/1970 with live-action actors playing their counterparts in the style of that series rather than the rehashes of Scooby Doo since. They would be live action portrayals of the characters from “Scooby Doo, Where Are You?” I think this would work best in the form of television series with each episode being an encounter with a different ghost. Also, the classic catchphrases like “jinkies” and “zoikz” and “Not even for a Scooby Snack?” will be in abundance. It will have the comedic aspect of the original series but have the feel and dynamics of something like Twin Peaks. This take on the classic series will be darker but not unwatchable for younger audiences as it will have a PG-13 certificate.
