Summary
Muggle Europe and the No-Maj world are at war with Germany and Japan.
With Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) running riot through Europe, and the Ministry of Magic in chaos, Albus Dumbledore (Jared Harris) decides to track down his old friend and put an end to his madness.
Meanwhile, magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and Auror Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston), with Graves (Colin Farrell) are tracking and finding obscuri before Grindelwald can recruit them to his cause.
Though, in pursuit, is Leta Lestrange (Thandie Newton), a friend-turned-enemy: one who has joined Grindelwald’s fanatics and been sent on a mission to recruit obscuri in his name.
