Fairy Tales Gone Dark: A Fancasting For A TV Series

When Rumpelstiltskin (Paul Sparks) concocts a plan with The Mirror (Giancarlo Esposito) that could wipe our favourite characters from existence throughout time and space, it’s up to our favourite characters to save the world from by stopping our favourite trickster in his tracks. This is a place where villains have to work with heroes so they can stay around long enough to carry on being evil. This will be a series inspired by the Brothers Grimm tales filled with: magic, wonder, history, mythology, romance as well as horror and fantastical elements with lots and lots of blood; a show that pays homage to the original stories, including the slicing of heels, birds eating out eyeballs as well as themes like rape, torture and murder. It would be along the lines of Penny Dreadful meets American Horror Story in that fairytale setting. Essentially giving Once Upon A Time the R-Rated upgrade.

Narrated By: Michael Fassbender (Wilhelm Grimm) & Christoph Waltz (Jacob Grimm) through occasional voiceovers.
